Marvin Fogel, 85, beloved husband of the late Maureen, loving father of David (Debra), Howard and Larry (Lynne); cherished “Papa” of Ryan and Anna Fogel, Kiery Nowers, Kiel (Kristin) Nowers and Brandon, Julia and Samantha Fogel; devoted son of the late Sadie and Harry Fogel; dear brother of the late Clara (the late Ben) Millman, the late Lila (the late Bob) Glassner and the late Al (Bess) Fogel. Uncle Marv also loved all the nieces, nephews along with grandnieces and grandnephews as well. Marv and Maureen were married for over 53 wonderful years. Marvin was a proud US Navy Veteran during the Korean War. His greatest passion and love in life was his family. Marv was an owner of Millman, Fogel and Carlson. Dad, Papa truly set the tone for his family by leading by example. He thoroughly enjoyed life and lived it the right way every day, always doing the right things. He loved people and they loved him back. He lives on in his children and grandchildren as they strive to follow his path of enjoying life and showing us how to love the family. Chapel service Monday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
